Today I learned that...the funny little words you have to type in every here and there on the internet to prove you are not spam, are called CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart). More awesome though, reCAPTCHA is the service that uses your typing effort to digitalise old books etc.
